The Certified IC Intelligence Analyst – Structured Analytic Techniques (FL-CERT-IC-002) is a professional credential in the FedLearn intelligence certification track. It develops applied capability in the structured analytic techniques used to produce rigorous, bias-resistant intelligence analysis.
Across eight courses, learners will build end-to-end command of analytic technique—from critical and creative thinking, through diagnostic structured analytic techniques and to the disciplined evaluation and marshaling of evidence—preparing intelligence professionals to reason systematically and defend their analytic judgments.

Certification Certificate
A certificate of completion, digital badge and certificant communications toolkit can be downloaded after successfully finishing all assigned courses, scoring 80 percent or higher on the graded assessments and maintaining consistent performance across all required courses (a score of 61 or higher) as determined by the FedLearn Mission Readiness Knowledge Index (please refer to the FedLearn certification FAQs to learn more).

Continuing Professional Education Credits
Learners can accrue continuing professional education credits for each of the courses required for this certification or a total of 10 CPEs.
Certification Term
This certification remains valid for three years from the date earned.
Maintaining the Certification
Following the certification attainment date, learners must earn 45 CPEs utilizing courses on the FedLearn platform within three years—an average of 15 credits annually, which includes a small professional ethics requirement. Recertification credits are validated using the same rigorous standards applied to the original credential.
