About Annette Hurley
Annette’s success as an executive coach, facilitator and consultant draws from her 30-plus years of experience in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development and learning, assessment and feedback, team and organization development, change and transitions and whole-person well-being. An experienced feedback specialist, she uses a variety of individual and 360 assessments to support client engagements, such as the OPM 360; Leadership Circle Profile, The Culture Survey, Leadership Practices Inventory; Emotional Intelligence; DISC, MBTI; FIRO-B; Conflict Mode Instrument, Gallup Strengths Finder, Values in Action, Change Cycle Locator and Wellness Inventory.
Previously holding a variety of leadership roles as an internal consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, federal civilian employee and now as an independent executive coach and consultant (since 2008) lets Annette give real-time richness and cultural understanding to her coaching partnerships. She has logged more than 7,000 hours of coaching since 1998, and provided one-to-one in-person, telephonic and virtual coaching to more than 600 c-suite, executives, senior leaders and aspiring leaders spanning diverse organizational cultures, multiple generations and professional disciplines. Annette weaves a tapestry of developmental, integral and somatic experiences into her coach-client relationships. She consciously attends to the whole person, and invites her clients to be self-generative, creative, resourceful and resilient. Annette customizes her coaching approach by listening carefully to client needs while drawing on her generative coach training and real-time organizational experience and business know-how. Working with Annette, leaders play witness to increased awareness and regulation, emotional agility, mindful leadership, change readiness, intentional engagement and enhanced resiliency and well-being. A captivating, creative and authentic facilitator, Annette has delivered hundreds of experiential leadership development programs, workshops, retreats and focus groups.
Annette is a Master Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation, Board Certified Coach from the Center for Credentialing and Education, National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach and Certified ICF Mentor Coach. She received her master’s degree in human resource development from Marymount University, bachelor’s degree in social work and interpersonal communications from Western Michigan University and a training specialist Certificate from Georgetown University.
