About This Online Course
The Wharton Interactive Advanced Strategy and Leadership Program is designed to support leaders—in either the public or private sectors—in navigating the complex and fast-paced world.
To succeed, leaders must continuously improve their operational or business acumen, acquire and develop new leadership skills, cultivate agile mindsets and synthesize large amounts of data and information to make critical business decisions. This course teaches the crucial skills needed to compete in rapidly changing environments where team, organizational and data-driven leadership capabilities are essential for success.
Through personal and team journeys, ongoing coaching and application sessions and a series of experiential games-based, online experiences, you will explore and gain hands-on training in building and leading effective teams, conducting strategic business experiments and practicing strategies for countering common team pitfalls and increasing you team’s collective intelligence.
Designed for mastery, the program provides a learner-centric approach to allow you to practice key skills, reflect on your practice, and build durable, transferable strategy and leadership skills. By moving through a series of modules and playing various roles, making decisions, and tackling challenging situations, you will be pushed out of your comfort zone and gain valuable experience and insights.

Ethan Mollick is an associate professor of management at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on innovation and entrepreneurial teams. Mr. Mollick has also worked extensively on understanding the way games can be used to motivate and teach, writing a book on the subject and working with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency on games-based training. His simulations and games are used by tens of thousands of students around the world.
Raghu Iyengar is a professor of marketing at the Wharton School and the faculty director of Wharton Customer Analytics. Dr. Iyengar’s research interests fall in two domains: pricing and social influence. In the area of pricing, his work focuses on the impact of multi-part pricing schemes on consumer response.
Dr. Iyengar’s research has been published (or is forthcoming) in Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, Psychometrika, Quantitative and Marketing Economics and Experimental Economics. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science and the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and earned his Doctorate and Master of Philosophy from Columbia University and his Bachelor in Technology from IIT Kanpur, India.
