Yes! The platform’s “discussion” function allows you to engage with and share insights and comments with fellow learners while in a course/piece of content:
- On right side of screen under “Discussion prompt” area, type your input in box under “Add post”
- Click red “Post” button to add your input
- Review, comment and “like” the input of your fellow learners:
- Scroll below Add post” box and click blue “Reply” box by learner input you wish to respond
- “Like” learner inputs by clicking heart icon at bottom of same box
Yes! The platform’s “notes” function lets you jot down thoughts while taking a course or reviewing a piece of content for future reference:
- While in course/piece of content, scroll to dark blue box under course window
- Click document icon (next to “Notes”) located at bottom left of box
- Type any notes under “Add note” section at bottom of box and click red “Save” button
Access all courses notes by:
- Using “notes” shortcut while in any course/piece of content (refer to “Are shortcuts available to access FedLearn features?”) or
- Via “My Learning Data” under “Notes.” To access:
- Click “My Learning Data" on top menu of any page of platform
- Select “Notes” on middle menu

Yes! While in any course/piece of content, you will see a circle icon with four boxes on the left-hand side of the course window. After clicking on the circle, five icons will appear. Click the different icons to access these features:
- Dartboard = Goals (refer to “I understand the platform is AI-powered. What does this mean for me?”)
- “Heartbeat” line = Analytics (refer to “I understand the platform is AI-powered. What does this mean for me?”)
- Clock = History of your activity on platform. Also accessible by clicking “My Learning Data” on top menu of any page of platform and then clicking “History” on middle menu
- Document with question mark = Quiz results. Also accessible by clicking “My Learning Data” on top menu of any page of platform and then clicking “Quiz results” on middle menu
- Document = Notes (refer to “Can I take notes online while taking a course/reviewing a piece of content?”)
