He founded Avantia to serve ultra-high net worth families and their financial management teams: bankers, investment managers, accountants and other service providers. Prior to establishing Avantia, Cobb led teams at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. He also was a captain in the U.S. Army and led teams in austere environments. Cobb is on the boards of America’s Automotive Trust and the ACT Theatre Foundation. He received his Bachelor of Science in History from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and Master of Business Administration from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. Cobb also completed coursework at the Swiss Banking Institute in Zürich, Switzerland.
