FedLearn and aiLeaders Launch Course on Leading ChatGPT and LLM Strategy and Implementation

FedLearn, the first-to-market, online, artificial intelligence-powered learning solutions provider offering content specialized and contextualized to federal government mission areas—particularly in the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community—announces a partnership with aiLeaders, a boutique firm focused on strengthening the leadership of AI across U.S. national security and government, to offer a new online course, Chat GPT & LLMs: An Implementation Guide for Leaders (AILEAD101), to customers and learners.

This self-paced, online course covers he types of work large language models perform, how they operate, options and frameworks for implementing MML, the challenges and risks of employing these models, the factors impacting the development of new LLM technology and beyond. It is particularly designed for executives, program managers, project managers and other leaders who are interested in gaining a practical understanding of how to leverage LLMs, like ChatGPT, in their organizations.

After completing the course, leaders will have the practical knowledge and skills to drive LLM strategy and implementation at enterprise scale.

The course was developed by Chris Whitlock and Frank Strickland, the owners and founders of aiLeaders. Whitlock began his career as a Central Intelligence Agency military analyst and a U.S. Army infantry officer. He then spent 30 years leading management consulting, advanced analytics and AI in large global firms. Most recently, Whitlock led a large Deloitte Consulting business focused on machine learning and AI models.

Strickland served 22 years in the federal government, starting as a U.S. Marine and concluding his public service career as a member of the CIA’s Senior Intelligence Service, where he received the National Intelligence Medal of Achievement. In the private sector, Strickland co-founded Edge Consulting with Whitlock, a firm that received national recognition for quantifying the value of intelligence across multiple missions and ultimately led to an acquisition by IBM. At Deloitte, he helped drive AI innovations including massive scale property graph and agent-based simulation.

“FedLearn is thrilled for aiLeaders to join our cadre of outstanding content providers,” said Dr. J. Keith Dunbar, FedLearn founder and chief executive officer. “Leaders require special understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning to oversee the strategy, development and deployment of these technology models. The new FedLearn course provides the perfect level of knowledge to successfully drive this transformation and change.”

“FedLearn is the perfect partner to help leaders across the government benefit from aiLeaders’ unique courses,” Whitlock said. “To win the global AI competition, defined by the National Security Commission on AI, the U.S. needs leaders who can drive the integration of AI into major system programs and deliver results with AI projects. The FedLearn–aiLeaders collaboration enables rapid scaling of AI leadership across entire enterprises.”
