McManus possesses more than 25 years of leadership experience in national security, crisis response and executive communication. A retired U.S. Army Special Forces officer and senior DIA executive, he has briefed Congress, guided senior decision makers through global crises and led enterprise-wide training efforts for 10,000+ professionals annually. His work spans geopolitical risk, crisis management, strategic planning, applying information technology solutions and government affairs.
McManus is the founder and chief executive officer of McManus Strategies, where he advises clients across the private and public sectors on leadership in high-risk environments, effective congressional engagement and building organizational resilience. He received his Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies and Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
